DEYÁ HEYDAYS – The history of an artists’ community
Between 1955 and 1985 a creative and adventurous crowd from all over the world arrived in Deyá and formed a community of artists and bon vivants who contributed to the vitality of what we call the Deyá Heydays.

– some blurring, discoloration, over- or underexposing are ok
– we welcome your files, prints, slides or negatives

Though it would be out of the book’s scope to include every creative person who passed through the village we intend to include those indispensable in creating the ambience which made Deyá a beacon for people in search of creative and personal freedom.
We also do hope that this website could evolve into a sort of permanent “Deiapedia”, where you can post information about anyone you feel has somehow participated in the story of the village.
